46th Season at WFC

A warm welcome awaits you at Woking Film Club!

We show films on a wide screen with surround sound at Mayford Village Hall in Saunders Lane. Our programme includes films you might not find at local cinemas or on streamers.

Our season starts on Thursday 10th September with Hamnet, starring Jessie Buckley (in an Oscar and BATFA-winning performance) and Paul Mescal.

Our programme of 17 films also includes

• Recent releases you may have missed such as I Swear;Lee; The Ballad of Wallis Island; The Choral and Song Sung Blue
• Classic films (The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie; Force Majeure)
• Gems from Afghanistan (Rule Breakers), France (The Marching Band), South Africa (Don't Let's Go To the Dogs Tonight); Belgium (Young Mothers) and India (Santosh)

Performances begin at 8pm. We show a short before the main feature and include an interval when you can buy light refreshments and delicious homemade cakes. There are notes accompanying the film, and you have the opportunity to give your reactions to the presentation which are reported back at the next show.

All this for just £68 for the year (that's £4.00 per film) or £7 as a guest at one show.
